She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel McCollum and Janie McCollum; her husband Turman Howell Maddox; her son Kenneth Wayne Maddox; and her siblings, Thomas McCollum, Harold Lee McCollum, Bill McCollum, Maudie Ree Hicks and Gene McCollum.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Maddox Ownby; her granddaughters, Shannon Brockway, Victoria Byrd (Bradley) and Kristen Kelley; her great grandchildren, Emma and Hannah Brockway; and her extended family, Vivian Driscoll, Jeff Brockway, Dianne Butcher, Debra, Jake Randels, Laura, Molly, Jed Conrad, Kella Skinner, Brandie, Ariana, Brenda Brown-Christman, Darlene Dunn and Amber Chandler.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (6833 Church St, Lithonia, GA 30058). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Stodghill Cemetery (Winding Way, Georgia 30233).
