Genoveva leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Genoveva’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Genoveva will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her husband Luis A. Martinez; and her son Luis Martinez Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sonia Martinez (Lee Wells), Jaime Martinez, Nelson Martinez, Rolando Martinez, Carlos Martinez (Mildred Martinez), Mirna Brown Martinez and Hector Martinez (Wanda Martinez). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with extended family members and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation (3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306).
