He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Blackwell and Audie Blackwell; and his siblings, J. B. Blackwell and Joyce Merrell. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Flannery (Lee), Regina Reid (Jody), Scotty Blackwell (Angel Brown), Lisa Flanigan (Henry) and James Ramon Blackwell; and his sisters, Jaunita Ramey and Mamie Singleton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
