It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Moore (Lithonia, Georgia), who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Edward Rountree and Genieve Rountree; her husband William David Moore, Jr.; her son Edward Darnell Moore; and her siblings, Paul, Fred, Lauretta, Louetta and Willaetta.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Boswell, Georgia, Girleene Moore of Queens and William Ray Moore. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, diabetes.org, in her memory.
