He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Moon Goddard; and his parents, George Daniel Goddard and Emma Lucy Goddard. He is survived by: his children, Doug Goddard (Carolyn), Russ Goddard (JoAnn), Len Goddard and Beverly Smith (Bob); his grandchildren, Paige Fleming (Barry), Heather Taylor (Mark), Stephanie Radhuber, Drew Smith (Meg) and Sommer Smith; his great grandchildren, Mary Fischer, Emelia Fischer and Zack Fleming; and his great great grandchildren, Ari Fischer and Eames Fischer.
Following his retirement, he and Helen traveled extensively and proudly celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary, In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to https://www.boystown.org.
