We are sad to announce that, on February 12, 2023, at the age of 77, Sherion H. Day of Lithonia, Georgia, born in Aragon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hopper and Ruth Hopper; and her sister Gayle Akin. She is survived by: her husband Larry Day; her children, Cindy Bowles of Milledgeville, Melissa Karen Padgette (Johnny) of Milledgeville, Parker Bowles of Jacksonville, FL and Terry Bowles; and her siblings, Annette Sanders (Hoyt) of Hollywood, GA, Jackie Upchurch (Jeff) of Griffin, Delores "Corky" Thrash (Jerome) of McDonough, Margie Adams (Tony) of McDonough, Ricky Hopper (Connie) of Winder and Donald Hart of McDonough. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Live flowers will be accepted (the family is planning to plant a flower garden in her memory) or donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
