He is survived by: his children, Cathy Gregory, Walter Gregory, III, Elittie C. Smith, Janice M, Smith, Pamela G. McGuire (James W. Jr.), Anthony D. Wright, Betty J. Wright and Theresa E. Wright; and his siblings, Nancy Prude (Melvin), Dorothy Bluitt, Mary Martin (Lindsey), Annie Ruth Hubbard, Lester Gregory and Cecil Gregory (Jeanette). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the New Jerusalem Outreach Ministries (5721 Miller Grove Rd, Lithonia, GA 30058).
