She was predeceased by : her parents, David Propst and Jewell Propst. She is survived by : her children, Shannon Barnard (Chris Miller), Chrisopher Barnard (Courtney Barnard) and Zack Kitchens; her fiancé Jody Kersey; her grandchildren, Tristen Riley Miller, Jerzey Paisley Miller, Isaiah Taylor Kitchens, Robin La'Shae Martin, Declan Barnard and Lucy Barnard; and her brother David Propst.

“To Belinda's family, I am a childhood friend of Belinda's from Black Mountain. She lived up the hill from me and while she was actually my sister's friend technically, we all played together for years. We had measles and mumps and chickenpox together and I loved her and her family just like my own. We lost touch when she moved to GA but reconnected on FB several years ago. I have been so heartbroken since I heard of her death I loved her and will always miss her! Sending love and prayers”
