She was predeceased by: her parents, Doy Winston McElveen and Mary Ruth McElveen; and her brother Doy Winston McElveen, Jr. (Carol). She is survived by: her children, Tim Johnson (Holly) and Amanda Delp; her siblings, Cathy Taylor and Charles McElveen (Margie); and her grandchildren, Noah Delp, Kayla Ross (Jocelyn) and Maddie Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to Open Bible Church, located at 6490 Sandy Point Rd, Lizella, GA 31052.
