We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 67, Dennis L. Elkins of Locust Grove, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dennis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dennis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dennis leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford Elkins and Mary Helms Elkins; and his sister Janet Elikns Goolsby. He was also cherished by several cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Resthaven Garden of Memory (2284 Candler Rd, Decatur, GA 30032).
