It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Ray Alverson of Locust Grove, Georgia, born in Huntsville, Alabama, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jim Alverson and Velma Alverson; his wife Martha Alverson; and his siblings, Wanda Alverson, Sammy Alverson, Robert Alverson and Deborah Alverson.

He is survived by : his sons, Zach Alverson (Brittney), Corey Rieke and Josh Rieke (Melissa); his grandchildren, Piper, Wyatt Alverson, Madilynn and Abigail Rieke; and his sisters, Barbara Brown Brenda (Kent) and Donna Walker (Russ). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and beloved family members.
