James Nelson Byrom Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Nelson Byrom Sr. of Locust Grove, Georgia, born in Clifton Forge, Virginia, who passed away on January 14, 2023 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Nelson Byrom Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Berry Byrom and Cassie Carter Byrom; and his sisters, Joyce Proctor and Kay Byrom Nalley. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Preston Byrom; his children, John Byrom, Regina Pitcher (Chris) and Jim Byrom (Jo); his grandsons, Monty Byrom and Alex Byrom; and his brother Steven Byrom (Jeannie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and numerous extended family.
In lieu of flowers he would have really appreciated a donation to Rushton's Hope of Griffin, Georgia, or a donation to one of the many missions at Griffin First Assembly Church.
