With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Matthew Glen Freeman of Locust Grove, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Matthew Glen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Matthew Glen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Lynn Freeman. He is survived by: his mother Ann Freeman of Locust Grove; his wife Darlene; his daughter Riley Grace Freeman; and his siblings, Steve Freeman (Danette) of McDonough, Johnny Freeman (Pam) of Buckhead, Dawn Reese (Shane) of McDonough, Tracy Perry (Dewayne) of Milner and Lisa Lynch (Patrick) of Locust Grove. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Haisten Funerals and Cremations (1745 S Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
