She was predeceased by : her parents, Asbury Sams and Minnie Betsill Sams; her husband Leland Reynolds Tarrant, Jr.; and her brothers, Billy R. Sams (Mary) and James A. Sams.
She is survived by : her children, Angelia Groover, Margaret Tarrant, Deborah Greer (Hal) and Leland Reynolds Tarrant, III (April); her grandchildren, Chad Greer (Rita), David Gregory Groover (Megan), Douglas Berkelbaugh (Sarah), Chase Greer (Allison), Taylor Tarrant and Kent Petty; and her sister-in-law Joanne Sams. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
