He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin O. Jones and Mandy Louise Jones; his brother Marvin Z. Jones; and his stepdaughter Lori Drake. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Wilson Jones of Locust Grove, Georgia; his daughters, Michelle J. Buchan of Ormond Beach and Sherry Redman (Todd) of Ormond Beach, Florida; his stepsons, William Wilson (Jackie) and Mike Wilson (Connie); his grandchildren, Taylor Troupe (Trey), Kaitlin Redman, Lauren Dingman (Eric), Morgan Moore (Conner), Madison Morris (Brock), Heather Wilson and Wilson Drake (Ella); his great grandchildren, Avaleigh Lewis, Brinleigh Troupe, Caraleigh Troupe, Weston Dingman, Mary Wilson Morris, Davis Moore, William Morris and Thomas Moore; and his sister-in-law Brenda Hunton Sherwood (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Haisten McCullough Funeral Home (1155 Everee Inn Rd, Griffin, GA 30224). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a veterans' charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Jones.
