He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eldred Davis and Jewell Davis (Thurston); and his wife Patricia Diane Lisker Davis. He is survived by: his children, Kerrie Ward (Bill) of Locust Grove, Susan McCullers (Eddie) of Locust Grove and Eric Davis (Kristi) of Locust Grove; his grandchildren, Lindsey, Brett (Lyndsay), Zach (Emilee), Sydney (Dallas), Bailey (Colton), Reagan, Billy, Autumn and A. J.; his great grandchildren, Lila, Maddyn, Corbin, Drake, Landyn, Sadie, Hunter, Clara and Carson; and his siblings, Benida Helms, Bill Davis, Jim Davis (Linda), Clayton Davis (Cheryl) and Betty Lynn Purcell (Fred).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause that held a special place in his heart for many years.
