He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Russo and Virginia Russo; and his siblings, Genaro Russo, John Russo, Frank Russo, Pasqualina Russo, Assunta Decato and Theresa Carangelo.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Russo; and his children, Evelyn Russo Arminio of West Haven, CT, Virginia Tureck, Bangor of Maine, Alphonse Russo, Jr. and Christopher Russo. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
