We are sad to announce that, on February 2, 2026, at the age of 82, Barbara Jean Stephens of Loganville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billy J. Stephens; her parents, Frank Hays and Maggie Hays (Ellington); her siblings, Robert Hays (Elise), Haygood, Luther Hays, Fletcher Alexandra (Glen), Emmie Jo Anderson (Bob), LaRue Moon (Robert), Lilla McCart (Dorsey), Pearl Rutledge (Weyman) and Gladys Patillo (Roy); her sisters-in-law, Helen Malcom (Heck) and Wanda Bonner (Winston); and her nieces and nephews, Judy Hays, Debra White, Milton, Phillip Moon, Keith Patillo and Dillinger McCue.
She is survived by: her son Scott Stephens (Tammy) of Loganville, GA; her grandchildren, Nikolas Cooper (Meagan) of Madison, GA, Alix Cooper of Tampa, FL, Jennifer Golden of Covington, GA and Katie Bullard (Wilson) of Shady Dale, GA; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Hays of Conyers, GA and Brenda Perkins of Loganville, GA; and her daughter-in-law Nici Snell of Loganville, GA.. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
