Carolyn Hand Hooks Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Hand Hooks of Loganville, Georgia, born in Nashville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Hooks; her parents, William Carl Hand and Cleo Dryden; her stepfather Wilson Dryden; her sister Marilyn Slade; and her great grandchild Rowan Culberson.
She is survived by: her son Tony Wallace (Rocio Wallace) of Woodstock, Georgia; her siblings, Sue Stone (Jesse) of Nashville, Georgia and Mike Hand (Rhonda) of Nashville; her stepchildren, Donna Moncrief, Rick Hooks, Mike Hooks, Renee'Becton, Gail Wall and Craig Dickerson; her grandchildren, Kristopher Wallace (Lexy), Kailey Culberson (Brian), Brandon Wallace (Hannah Wallace), Alex Wallace and Connor Wallace; and her friends, Glenda Mitchell, Gloria Hughs and Pat Stewart. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, fifteen step grandchildren, a number of step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Funeral Home (121 Claremore Dr, Woodstock, GA 30188). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
