With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Catherine Whitt Richards (Loganville, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Whitt and Annie Lou Whitt; her stepmother Vongetta Whitt; her siblings, Gene Wilburn, Terry Whitt, Wanda Connor and Martha Stancil; and her granddaughter Elizabeth "Nichole" Wallace.
She is survived by: her husband Donald M. Richards; her children, Debbie Hill (Bennie), Donna Taggart and Jeff Richards (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jeremy Wallace (Beth), Tonya Simmons (Todd), Tracy Dove (Trent), Brittany McLendon (Chris), Jacob Richards and Cameron Burkett (Matt); her great grandchildren, Jessica, Audrey, Jackson, Olivia, Cody, Gage, Ledger, Jordyn, Parker, Blane, Ava, Amelia, Tristan and Cillian; her great great grandchildren, Jaxon, Lexi and Kashton; and her sister-in-law Cheray Whitt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Catherine's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), a cause close to her heart.
