He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Loretta Hunger Hill and Lawrence Joseph Hill; his former wife Mary Helen Schnabel Hill; his sister Mary Frances Hill Nichols; and his brother-in-law Tommy.
He is survived by: his wife Nedra Kay Wilson Hill of Loganville, Georgia; his children, Susan E. Hill of Louisville, Dr. Nancy Hill Burkhardt (Jim) of Madison, Indiana and Charles Keith Hill (Debbie) of Norfolk, Virginia; his stepchildren, Tamela Mills (John) of Loganville, Georgia and Dr. Joe Breeden (Jeanie) of Santa Fe; his grandchildren, Sara (Brian), Allison (Jacob), Dr. Benjamin (Jordan), Addison (Holly), Matthew and Erin; his great grandchildren, Graham, Grady and Chloe; his stepgrandchildren, Ellie, Kira and Kanaan; and his brothers, George R. Hill (Carol) of Madison and Michael Hill (Merrillyn) of Maryland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (413 E 2nd St, Madison, IN 47250). The military honors will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery (310 W State St, Madison, IN 47250).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Walnut Street Fire Company No. 4.
