It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delton Vestal Armstrong of Loganville, Georgia, who passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Delton had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Delton may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Ernest Armstrong and Pearl Armstrong; his wife Rhenna Lee Gonzalez Armstrong; and his brother Kenneth Armstrong. He is survived by: his children, Mike, Gregg (Linda), Delton Jr. and Elizabeth Veale; and his sister Ernestine Allen of Modesto, CA. He is also survived by four children, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
