He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight and Jessie Martin, Sr.; and his sisters, Bobbie Jean Matheson and Samantha 'Sue Nudelman. He is survived by: his wife Nadine Martin; his son Ronnie; his daughter-in-law Judy Martin; his grandchildren, Lori, Don Miller, Lisa and Shawn Holland; his great grandchildren, Chrissy, Matthew, Andrew, Jenna, Dalton and Cambry; his brother Fred; and his sister-in-law Venetia Martin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crosspoint Christian Church, 4550 Highway 20 SE, Conyers, GA 30013.
