He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carpenter and Helen Carpenter (Giles). He is survived by: his wife Arleen Carpenter of Loganville; his sons, Kevin Carpenter of Bishop and Adam Carpenter of Ball Ground; and his grandchildren, Jordan, Slater and Reese.
