He was predeceased by: his brother Brian; his mother Dorothy; and his brother Tim. He is survived by: his father Col. Keith Lauer; his brother Dan (Courtney) of Dallas; his siblings' children, Olivia, Ryan and Cameron; his brother Chris (Katherine) of Charlotte; his siblings' children, John, Mary, Margaret, Joseph, Thomas and David; his sister-in-law Holly Smith of Macon; and his nieces, Anne, Ava and Sophia. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Corpus Christi Chapter of the St. Vincent DePaul Society in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
