He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Jacqueline Joyce Atha (Ray). He is survived by: his wife Jan Atha of Loganville; his children, Brandon Atha (Madeline) of Ringgold and Heather Groover (Stephen) of Alpharetta; his grandchildren, Brooks Atha, Mason Groover, Chandler Groover and Amelia Groover; and his brother Scott Atha (Karen) of Carnesville.
