He was predeceased by : his wife Peggy Adams; his parents, Harvey Veal and Rosalee Veal; and his granddaughter Taylor Veal. He is survived by : his children, Sandy Derryberry (Lee), Kristi Gold (Chuck), Scotty Veal (Leah), Brent Veal and Derrick Veal; his siblings, Bruce Veal, Deborah Veal and Darlene Keller; and his close friend Katrina Bass. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
