She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Vaughn and Margaret Meadows Vaughn; her husband Harold W. Smith, Jr.; and her brothers, Jesse Vaughn, Jr., Andrew Vaughn and Harold Vaughn.
She is survived by : her children, Gary Smith, Harold W. Smith, III, Jimmy Smith, Stephen Smith (Rhonda), Lisa Lackey and Sandy Ayala (Arturo); and her siblings, Shirley Beck, Betty Sue Nisbet, Christine Hand, Ralph Vaughn, Pat Tiller and Donnie Vaughn (Libby). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
