Though Charlie may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charlie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Baker Sr. and Carrie Bell Miller Baker; his wife Ruth Roberts; and his sisters, Marie Houston and Rosie Matthews of Atlanta, Georgia.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Evon Baker, Mammie Wade of Atlanta, Jennett Richardson of Gibson, GA, Mary Alice Simpson of Stapleton, Georgia and Odell Roberts; and his nieces, Wanda Kelly of Stapleton and Felicia Kitchens of Bartow, Georgia.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the James and Virginia Davis Chapel (727 Beech St, Louisville, GA 30434).
