She was predeceased by: her spouse J. Farris Sheppard (Tag); her siblings, James B. Polhill, III, Rosa Polhill Green and Emily Polhill Watson; and her son-in-law H. Bissell Vann.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph F Sheppard, Jr. and Lois Sheppard Vann; her grandson Eric (Samantha Sheppard); and her extended family, Mary Heath and Sabrina Dawson. She is also survived by two great-grandsons; one great-great grandson; many loving nieces and nephews.
