She was predeceased by : her parents, Anderson'Anthony'Green Gillis-Green and Lela Gillis-Green of Soperton, Georgia.; and her husband Robert Dixon. She is survived by : her niece Leila McCall.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the James and Virginia Davis Chapel (727 Beech St, Louisville, GA 30434).

She was passionate about volunteering at the local Salvation Army sorting donations and 'chewing the fat'.
