He is survived by: his significant other Edith Long Weir of Ludowici; his daughter Darlene Weir-Threatt of Columbia, SC; his grandsons, Christopher Bruckerhoff (Laura) of Salem, IN and Ryan Bruckerhoff (Mallory) of Tallahassee, FL; his great grandchildren, Madison, Cora, Riley and Daphine; and his siblings-in-law, Lynne Simpson of Ludowici, Joyce of Ludowici, Jeffery Dasher of Ludowici, John of Ludowici, Judy Long of Ludowici, Phyllis Long of Ludowici, Franz, Jr. of Ludowici, Debbie Long of Ludowici, Daniel, Lynette Long of Fayetteville, Kathleen Gunter of Blackshear and Jeff Brannen of Woodbine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
