He was predeceased by: his parents, James Middleton and Mamie Poole Middleton; and his brother Ellis Middleton. He is survived by: his close friend Tracy Gordon of Ludowici; his children, Brandi Middleton (Cameron Simpson) of Ludowici, Stephanie Rubio (Xavier) of Pace, FL and James "Matt" Middleton of Pace, FL; his siblings, Susan Middleton-Dietzen (Charles) of Harker Heights, TX, Billy Middleton of Townsend and Emmitt Middleton of Ludowici; and his grandchildren, Jojo, Cooper, Delyla and Leighanna. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
