He was predeceased by: his parents, William, Sr. Siets and Kate Siets; and his sister Carolyn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary Siets; his children, Carolyn Siets (Jon) and William Siets, III (Angela) of Ludowici; his grandchildren, Bobby Ray Staudt of Tifton, Thomas Gordon of Ludowici and Kyra Staudt of Tifton; and his siblings, Kay Cranley of Tallahassee, FL and Johnny Siets (Janet) of Cairo, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Florida; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Howard Funeral Home (57 Oak St, Ludowici, GA 31316). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (387 Factory St, Ludowici, GA 31316). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Georgia Veterans' Cemetery.
