She was predeceased by: her father James Echols; her husband Winford Lewis Popphan; and her stepdaughter Barbara Daniels. She is survived by: her mother Sylvia Boling Echols; her sons, Winford Lewis "Jay" Popphan, Jr. (Scotty) of Rome and James "Jamie" Popphan (Tabitha) of Prattville, AL; her brother Wayne Echols; her sister-in-law Theresa; her grandchildren, Sylvia Popphan, Paul Popphan, Shelby, Peter Popphan, Olivia Popphan and Thomas Popphan; her stepgrandchildren, Davie Daniels and Samantha Daniels; and her great grandchildren, Valerie Popphan and Charlotte Popphan.
