As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gena may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jules "Jude" Cotton and Gloria Coker Cotton; and her sister Sherry Cotton of Winter Haven, Florida.. She is survived by: her husband Eric Carlan; her children, Justin Andrew Cotton (Kayla) of Homer and Erika Brea Boyle (Jordan) of Lula; her sister Lisa Wade (Derek) of Homer, Georgia; her grandsons, Clayton Hoyt Boyle and Carlan Jude Boyle; and her niece Kelsey O'Bannon (Matt). She is also survived by other relatives and a host of friends.
