He was predeceased by : his father Roy Patton; his brothers, William Roy Patton and Ronnie Patton; and his brothers-in-law, Van Dilbeck and Dewey Pickelsimer.
He is survived by : his mother Erma Payne Patton of Copper Hill, TN; his children, Lewonia Defevers of Gainesville and Neil; his daughter-in-law Beverly Defevers of Alto, GA; his sisters, Sue Patton Dilbeck of Copper Hill, TN and Arline Patton Pickelsimer of Gainesville, GA; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Emily Defevers, Courtney Defevers and Alyssa Staddon; and his sister-in-law Carol Harris Patton Alexander of Copper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
