We announce the death of Julia Haynie Shiver of Lula, Georgia, who passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 93. Julia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Julia will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Julia’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Ora Haynie; and her husband Leroy M. Shiver Sr. Mrs. She is survived by: her children, Matt Shiver (Jennifer), Ann Mead (Joy) and Paige Boomer (Mike). She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
