He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred George Carter, Sr. and Maudie Mae Tench Carter; his brothers, Robert Lee Carter and Raymond Joseph Carter; and his brother-in-law Alan Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Reynolds Carter; his children, Lisa (Raymond Welborn), Charmian (Earl Roach) and Mark; his daughter-in-law Lori Thompson; his grandchildren, Brett, Austin, Kelsey Thompson, Hunter, Maddie Thompson, Colton, Erica Carter, Dawson and Laney Welborn; his great grandchildren, Lily, Nate Roach, Jordan, Callie, Beckham Thompson, Remington and Walker Carter; his siblings-in-law, Cheryl, Kenneth Mooney, Scott and Cindy Reynolds; and his siblings, Shirley Carter Stephens and Fred George Carter, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many cherished friends.
