He was predeceased by: his parents, Newt Berry and Violet Smith Berry; his wife Janice Berry; and his son George Nelson Berry. He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Norsworthy of Dahlonega, Charlie Berry of Dahlonega and Robert Berry of Jesup; and his caregiver Ashley Hood of Dahlonega. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
