It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Hester of Lumpkin, Georgia, born in Cuthbert, Georgia, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Phillips and Addie Phillips; her husband Charles Hester; and her sisters, Margery Dews of Edison and Anne Moshell of Cuthbert, Georgia..

She is survived by : her children, Chris Hester (Janice) of Lumpkin, Laurie Lee (Jimmy) of Lumpkin and Lisa Weiland (Peter) of Madison; her grandchildren, Christopher Hester (Rita) of Lumpkin, Laine Lee of Camilla, Carter Weiland (Caitlin) of Huntsville and Cooper Weiland (Jill) of Mobile; and her great grandchildren, John Henry Hester of Lumpkin, Jack and Emma Weiland of Huntsville, Alabama..
