She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Whitmore and Odella Stitcher Whitmore; her husband James E. Strickland; and her sister Patricia Miles. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Carver of Moultrie and Lisa Strickland of Newnan; her grandsons, James Evan "Jay" Strickland of Savannah and James Grayson Dell of Moultrie; and her sisters, Janice (Louis Hughes) and Joyce (Donny Osbourne).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
