Lilous E. Kennedy Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 92, Lilous E. Kennedy of Luthersville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vergie Beshears Kennedy and Steve Kennedy; his children, Kindra Callahan, Steve Kennedy, Tim Pack and Eldon Kennedy; his grandson Tommy Kennedy; his great grandchild Mia Burger; his former wife Lois Kennedy; his stepchildren, Cheryl Templeton and Danny Brantley; his brother Jerald Hulen Kennedy; and his brother-in-law Don Prescott.

He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Kennedy of Luthersville; his children, Cynthia Kennedy of Stockbridge, Connie Cox of Jackson, Toni Stewart (Roger) of Union City, IN and James Kennedy (Tammy) of Wesley Chapel, FL; his stepchildren, Doug Brantley of Fayetteville, Deborah Gardner of Jackson, Gerald Brantley of McDonough, Gloria Burkett of St. Louis, MO and Lisa Whitted of Winchester, IN; his sister Nelda Prescott of Winchester; and his grandchildren, Erin Ludmer, Joshua Wendell and Marjorie. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
