He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Webster Lewis and Marle Russell Lewis; his wife Betty Wells Lewis; and his siblings, Clyde Maxwell Lewis, Claude Maxwell Lewis, Edna Lee Cook, Marie Nettles, Clara Parker and Kathryn Strickland.
He is survived by: his children, Basil Wallace Lewis and Frances Lynn Lewis.
