She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Brooks and Eva Woods Brooks; her husband Ralph Bishop; her brothers, Howard Brooks and Clyde Brooks; and her son-in-law Bobby Goodnight.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney, Jan Bishop, Tina, Zane Ham and Gina Goodnight; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bishop, Adrienne, Brian Bennett, Carla Ham, Addie and Scott Allums; her great grandchildren, Ashley, Justin Goodridge, Tyler Bishop, Annslee Bishop, Kaylin Bishop, Reagan Ham, Callie Allums, Andrew Allums, Mackie Bennett and Briggs Bennett; her great great grandchild Anna Reece; her sisters, Irene Brooks Bishop and Shirley Brooks Willingham; her grandsons, Stacy Bishop and Chance Ham; her great grandchildren, Devon Bishop and Griggs Bennett; and her great great grandchildren, Dawson Crane and Graham Reece. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Lyerly First Baptist Church (265 Tennessee Ave, Lyerly, GA 30730). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at the Lyerly Cemetery (475 Cemetery Rd, Lyerly, GA 30730).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions be made to the Lyerly Cemetery Fund (P.O. Box 85 – Lyerly, GA 30730) in memory of Wilene Bishop.
