She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Bernice McCumbers and Lois Taylor McCumbers; and her siblings, Wayne McCumbers, Gene McCumbers, Charles "Junior" McCumbers, Carolyn McCumbers Barber and Virginia McCumbers Hamilton.

She is survived by : her children, Carl McCumbers (Samantha) of Oak Park, Gene Crews (Stephanie) of Texas and Rachel Sapp of Vidalia; and her brothers, Lonnie McCumbers (Debbie) of Jacksonville and Jackie McCumbers of Soperton.
