He was predeceased by: his parents, Connell Connell of Arizona and Claudie Bell Brady Connell; and his siblings, Herschel Connell, Richard Connell, "Junior" Connell, Jr. of Arizona and Janice Connell Fulmer.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Mimbs Connell of Lyons; his daughters, Charity Roberts (Rodney) of Dahlonega, Christable Howell (Will) of Dahlonega, Miranda Kight (Buddy) of Lyons and Tonya Sharpe Braddy (Chris) of Tarrytown; his siblings, Nadene Connell Foster of Vidalia, Rebecca Connell Miller of Vidalia, Neal Connell of Vidalia and Tommy Connell (Vicki) of Statesboro; his grandchildren, Ryan Roberts, Tyler Roberts, Josey Howell, Hayden Howell, Hayden Kight, Haylie Kight, Shay Kight, Remi Grace Braddy and Drex Braddy; and his friend Jean Phillips. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home (310 North St W, Vidalia, GA 30475). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
