He was predeceased by: his wife Lola Brown Vaughn; his father Elmer Eugene Vaughn; his birth mother Tyra Perry Vaughn; his mother Cellie Morris Vaughn; and his siblings, Calvin Vaughn, Savilla Vaughn Taylor, Karen Vaughn Connell and Faye Vaughn Garrett.
He is survived by: his children, Dudley Vaughn (Beverly) of Newnan and Tyra Vaughn Burkhalter (Gregg) of Lyons; his grandchildren, Kyle Vaughn of Senoia and Amy Bowers (Thomas) of Vidalia; and his great grandchildren, Justin Bowers and Maggie Bowers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
