He was predeceased by : his father Horace Batten; his stepfather Ralph Wilson; his son-in-law Charlie Foskey; and his nephew Rusty Manville. He is survived by : his wife Melissa Nail Batton of Lyons; his children, Christy Foskey of Dublin, Susie Terry (Bo) of Seale, Wendy Woods (Wesley) of Vidalia and Bryan Batton of Lyons; his stepchildren, Laura Johnson of Murfreesboro and Ben Johnson of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Dirk Brantley (Natalie), Kirk Brantley (Kayse), Libby Cannady (Jared), Logan Terry, Gracie Terry, Reagan Terry, Hannah Terry, Bryleigh Woods, Braedon Batton, Bryson Batton, Camdon Cody and Carson Cody; his great grandchildren, Dawson Brantley, Kassidy Brantley, Tyson Brantley, Bailey Grace Brantley, Ace Brantley, Claire Beasley, Clayton Cannady, Kai Bo Brantley and Callen Cannady; his mother Ruth Fender Wilson; his sister Bonnie Stanford; and his niece Missy Dixon (Josh).
