She was predeceased by: her husband William "Fuzzy" Swain; her parents, James E. Hester and Lillian Katherine Brooks Hester; and her siblings, Lynda Hester Cook and Frank Hester.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Swain (Abigail) and Lindy Bishop (Dennis) of Lyons; her brothers, William "Bill" Hester (Lana) of Collins and James "Butch" Hester (Robin) of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Melissa Haines, Lindsey Haines (Greg), Cheyenne Swain (Tyler), Rayni Swain (Zach), Bryar Bishop, Cooper Bishop, Peyton McDaniel, Piper Swain and Paige Swain; and her great grandchildren, Cadence, Trinity, Dash, Bodhi, Zoey and Alden.
